The policy of the National Rex Club is to give each and every qualified
member two suggestions in the selection of the National Convention Judges
per year by general election ballot.

The list compiled from this balloting will be presented to the National
Rex Judges Committee. This committee shall consist of at least five (5)
outstanding members of the NRRC who are experienced, interested and
involved and who are regular exhibitors at the National Conventions. The
members are to represent the different areas of the United States.

The entire list of suggested judges shall be reviewed by the National Rex
Judges Committee, taking into consideration the suggested judge’s
integrity, capability, qualification, disposition, experience, reputation
and availability for the year(s) considered. The National Judges Committee
will develop a list of not less than five (5) and not more than twenty
(20) judges in order of desirability.

The list of recommended judges from the National Judges Committee shall be
presented at the biannual fall convention Executive Board meeting for
approval by a simple majority vote. Any judge may be stricken from the
list by a simple majority vote of the Executive Board.

The final approved judges list from the National Judges Committee and the
Executive Board shall be presented to the National Rex Club President, in
order of desirability, for hire. Notification of desire to hire such
judges by the Rex Club from this list must be executed within fifteen (15)
days to insure availability sought by the National Judges Committee. The
Rex Club President shall be responsible for notification of our
recommended judges to the ARBA Convention Show Committee for Open and
Youth Rex.

It is the recommendation of the National Judges Committee and it has been
mandated by the general Rex Club membership that the judges hired for the
Convention Open Rex Show, in part or in whole, are to be the same judges
hired for the Convention Youth Rex Show.

The National Judges Committee suggests a ten (10) year in advance contact
for judges to the National Convention in order to obtain desirable and
credible judges. The National Judges Committee will not recommend judges
that have been hired for the National Convention or the National Rex Show
in the concurrent year.
