Membership
dues in the National Rex
Rabbit Club are the same for adults and youth so that we might guarantee
every member full club privileges, vote and voice. Our club has been
chartered by the American Rabbit Breeders Association since 1958. This club
was organized to join all Rex breeders, nationally and internationally, in
the effort of improving and promoting the Rex breed, assisting one another
in the raising and exhibition of the Rex and to further the interest of the
rabbit industry and fancy. Club services and activities include the
following: |
- A club GUIDE BOOK
is sent to each member. This publication contains information on the
Rex Club itself, our standard of perfection and our sweepstakes system.
It includes articles by prominent breeders on each of the varieties and
knowledgeable advice on raising, breeding and exhibiting Rex.
- A quarterly news
magazine, THE REX WORLD is sent to the membership as a means of
communication and to provide current information on show reports,
sweepstakes, and upcoming conventions.
- A YEARBOOK listing
all current paid members and their addresses, according to state, is
received by members yearly.
- Our club sponsors two
NATIONAL REX SHOWS each year -a Spring National
Rex Show and the ARBA Convention in the Fall. These shows are
held in different areas of the country in order to give everyone a chance
to experience national competition.

CLUB AND BREED PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
are available to members. These include sweatshirts, T-shirts, arm
patches, club pins, notepads and the 25th Anniversary Edition, THE
WORLD OF REX on raising and marketing Rex.
- A yearly SWEEPSTAKES
in which members can earn points for exhibiting and winning in shows that
are sanctioned with the National Rex Rabbit Club. Points are
accumulated over a year, ending with the ARBA Convention. Over 200
awards are presented annually to winners in open and youth.
